Hardware and its mission
Growing up surrounded by music of every genre, I’ve always been drawn to the energy that comes from finding something new before everyone else does. A little selfish, I know, but that feeling of discovery never rests. It’s what keeps me digging through playlists at the crack of dawn or showing for those smaller artists just to hear something different.
I’m a current student at Sacred Heart University with an undying passion for the sounds of the underground. Hardware is my first real step into the world of music journalism — a space built for artists who push boundaries and care more about their craft than their stream count. Here, the goal isn’t to chase trends, but to spotlight the authentic sounds that actually get the people going. The ones that deserve to be heard, regardless of industry trends.
At the moment, I’m really focused on getting my foot in the door of music journalism by building genuine connections within the industry. Hardware has become my entry point, my space to get creative by writing, learning, and contributing to a scene that has never failded to inspire me.
I want to keep discovering artists who go against the grain and bring those stories to a wider audience. Down the line, I’d love to collaborate with independent labels, local venues, and the innovators shaping the sound of tomorrow.
If that means restless nights and loud music that’s a trade I’m born to make.
